Jenna is a native Texan and spent most of her adult life working for a construction company her parents founded. From her experience in the commercial construction field, she brings a unique set of skills and knowledge to the practice of construction law. In early 2017, Jenna lost her father unexpectedly. Because he did not leave a will, she quickly learned the intricacies of Texas Estates Code and intestate succession, in order to ensure her father's estate would be properly probated. Shortly thereafter, Jenna sat for the Texas Bar Exam and became licensed to practice law in the State of Texas.

During law school, Jenna co-founded the student section of the Federal Bar Association at St. Mary's University and was honored with the Distinguished Service Award from the San Antonio Chapter of the Federal Bar Association. She was a member of the St. Mary's Board of Advocates and organized, and competed in, several mock trial and moot court competitions. Jenna also was honored with an internship to the Central Staff Attorney's Office of Texas' highest criminal court, the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals.

After graduating law school, Jenna served as a law clerk for both criminal and civil practice firms and has taken part in cases involving consumer protection, defamation, construction disputes for general and subcontractors,
